Dropped my car off with them, was told 24 to 48 hours, never heard back and I was hunting down to speak with someone at service center, they kept the car for 8 days and I never got a loaner and no one called to give updates and even when I called I couldn’t speak with anyone. I live 48 miles from the dealership and I Uber there back and forth. To add salt to injury, I bought the car from same dealership. They’ve lost me and anyone else I know.
Waited 2 months for my truck to get fixed. No communication unless I called for updates.
Ron Carter has good hours of operation. However, their communication skills are lacking because they are terrible about returning phone calls.
I brought my car in for two warranty items. It was scheduled, diagnostics already completed in a previous appointment. My advisor was out sick and I was shocked no on touched my car. I called Thursday and they assured me it would be ready Friday. Monday night I received it back and the issue was not properly fixed.
it took almost 2 years to receive the sensors that were supposed to be equipped on my Chevrolet High Lander. The service representative "forgot" conversation and to top it off had an attitude where I felt like I was an inconvenience.
The service for my car was excellent. The customer service and communication with me was very poor. The only communication I received was when I called the service department myself. No one answered a message or called me to give me any status updates. I've always had great service at Ron Carter so I was very disappointed in the experience.
My sales person, Eric Helton, was wonderful to deal with. Straight shooter, knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased, and cut a square deal with me. the downfall of the entire process was is the financing department. He was more interested in selling me "maintenance protection plan products" then fining me an interest rate that was fair. I will be sure to let people know about this horrible experience and have them go elsewhere.
Check engine light on picked up vehicle after service engine light on again. Had to travel to and from Ron Carter 2 days in a row. Who is going to pay for my time since your technicians could not figure out the problem?
The diagnostic fee of 190 dollars for condensation in a headlight was insane. My wife signed the paperwork though so that is on us. I also had to negotiate with the dealership to honor my extended warranty. I shouldn’t have to ask the manager to dig further into the details. Customers be aware of a diagnostic fee of 190 for each concern.
