I came in for rear view mirror not working. Was in service for 7 days. All to tell me that don’t have the part.
My vehicle broke down and I specifically asked it to be towed to Ron Carter as my preferred dealership. Unfortunately, it has been more than 3 weeks since then and the information has been limited and vague with no likely date of when my vehicle will be repaired. Furthermore, the dealership explained that since they had so many to work on there were no courtesy vehicles available and no timeline when the work would be complete. The sales process went smoothly thanks to Omar and Jhonny in finance, who were on target and listened to my needs. Omar did a great job showing us how to work with all the technology, which was better than expected. The negative is that we left on a trip during the first week of buying the new truck. I scheduled an appointment and brought my truck into the appointment. The service rep explained that they would need the day to run a diagnostic on the vehicle. The following day I retuned to the dealer ship to see what was discovered, but nothing was done, no diagnostic not follow up phone call. The service rep explained it was most lily the senor which he didn’t feel was covered under my extended warranty. called three times asking about car leaving messages to be called back but got no response,
The service department had my car for two weeks, telling me the part I needed was on national back order and could possibly take weeks to months to come in. After my car sat at the dealership for two weeks my service advisor messaged me asking for updates. I felt that Ron Carter did not want to service my vehicle. I ended up having to locate the part myself at another dealership. I took my car to Davis Chevrolet and the repairs were done the same day. Service department was horrible. The wait time was atrocious and customer service needs improvement badly. I waited for 5 hours with no one to assist in making sure I had updates on my vehicle or made sure I was okay and not starving to death due to no vehicle at the moment
Justin did a fine job, even came and picked me up at my home and took me to the dealership. He had the paperwork prepared and ready to go. He also spent time going over the vehicle and hung around in case I had any questions.
1st. tire rotation & oil change took more than 5 hrs. I was told it would be 1.5 hrs. after making a .reservation. Also oil smears were left on hood and fenders.
